The Midi-Air-Fidget (MAF) is a versatile MIDI controller device that connects wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and offers a variety of MIDI functions for musicians and producers.

Features

The MAF offers the following features:

  • Colored Pixel Functions: Each function is represented by a unique pixel color.
  • Analog Button: The function is selected by pressing the button with more or less pressure.

Dynamic Pixel Colors: The left pixel indicates the current status of the MAF :

  • Green: Ready for operation after power on.
  • Blue: MIDI BLE Connected.
  • Red: Battery charge level less than 10%.

Function List:

  1. F1 (Red): end notes octave LOW up/down.
  2. F2 (Orange): Send notes octave MID up/down.
  3. F3 (Yellow): Send notes octave HIGH up/down.
  4. F4 (Green): Send CC EXPRESSION Data up/down.
  5. F5 (Cyan): Send drum up/down.
  6. F6 (Blue): Send pitch bend up/down.
  7. F7 (Magenta): PROG.
  8. F8 (White): Functions for various button actions:
    • Long press: Scale up and down.
    • Short press: Send CC NRP.
    • Double press: Send CC 1.
    • Triple press: Send CC 2.
    • Intermediate state: Notes up/down.

Operation

Operating the MAF is simple and intuitive:

  • Function Selection: Hold the button for approximately 2 seconds to take over the mode. Select the desired function by the assigned pixel color.
  • Parameter Adjustment: Adjust the selected parameter by pressing the button with more or less pressure.
  • Visual Feedback: The left pixel indicates the current status of the MAF.

  • Make sure your MAF is fully charged before using it. Use the supplied USB-C charging cable for this purpose.
  • Connect the MAF via Bluetooth to your MIDI-compatible device.
